Murphy Law Firm Investigates on Behalf of Individuals whose Personal Information was Exposed to Cybercriminals in the PracticeMax Data Breach

OKLAHOMA CITY - June 17, 2022 - PRLog -- Murphy Law Firm is investigating claims on behalf of all individuals whose personal and confidential information was potentially compromised in the data breach at PracticeMax, Inc. ("PracticeMax"), a healthcare service provider. On May 1, 2021, PracticeMax experienced suspicious activity on its systems. Following a forensic investigation, PracticeMax determined that cybercriminals had gained unauthorized access to its systems between April 17, 2021 and May 5, 2021. Based on the investigation, PracticeMax confirmed that cybercriminals may have acquired confidential and personal information of at least 154,929 patients. The personal information exposed to cybercriminals includes:

  • Names
  • Social Security numbers
  • Dates of birth
  • Medical information
  • Health insurance information
  • Financial information
  • Addresses
