Daiso's Rapid Expansion
The opening of the Kent Daiso marks the Japanese company's 84th retail storefront to open in the contiguous United States. In fact, Seattle, Washington is home to the very first Daiso site to open in the U.S. back in 2005. Moving forward, there are plans to open 7 to 8 additional stores, including two in Nevada, toward the end of 2022 (opening locations and dates TBA).
Daiso's signature $1.75 products span kitchenware, beauty supplies, stationery, gift wrap, greeting cards, electronics accessories, organizing and home goods, unique gift items, food and snacks. party favors and holiday merchandise. While the majority of items are priced at $1.75, some items may sell for slightly more.
