Edge2
The reason why we call Edge2 an 'ARM PC' and not a 'single board computer', is due to its next generation performance. As you can see from our performance tests, the 8 nanometer RK3588S is 2.5 times faster than the 28 nanometer RK3399 used in Edge1.
Despite the tremendous performance increase, Edge2's thermal output and energy consumption remain similar to Edge 1; requiring only the Khadas '3705 Cooling Fan' and 'Edge Heatsink' for thermal dissipation, and the same 30W USB-C P.D. power adapter used by the Edge1.
These improvements to Edge2 culminate in a product that is not just a single board computer for developers. The 8 nanometer architecture of the RK3588S brings it squarely into the domain of a personal computer. For example, Ubuntu at 4K resolution is smooth as butter.

Tone2
You may be wondering which DAC to purchase, the Tone2 Pro, Tone2 or the Tone1. The Tone1 will cease production in the coming months, so that leaves Tone2 Pro and Tone2.
The most obvious differences are that Tone2 Pro has inbuilt 3.5 and 4.4mm jacks for headphones and MQA support, whereas Tone2 comes as a Maker Kit without the headphone jacks and does not have an MQA license.
