The Power of Partnership: Supporting Communities in Need

By: 3BL Media

SOURCE: The Home Depot

DESCRIPTION:

The unhoused and marginally housed community in Atlanta has been impacted by COVID-19 in unimaginable ways.

The Home Depot Foundation partners with a network of nonprofits like Gateway Center, Atlanta Habitat and Quest Communities who are dedicated to serving community members in need across the city.

Raphael Holloway, CEO of Gateway Center, says this continued partnership is an opportunity to give people without homes a voice.

“The Home Depot Foundation has provided a space for Gateway Center to share our mission and impact with their social media network,” Raphael says. "We hope the ‘new normal’ will be shaped by an increased social awareness of the issue of homelessness."
