10.Change in Circumstances: If any of your circumstances change after receiving an ESTA approval (e.g., you change your travel dates, purpose, or address in the U.S.), you should update your ESTA information.

A transit visa to the United States permits you to enter the country and stay for a limited time. The US government issues C1 visas for immediate and continued passage through the country. Immediate and continuous travel indicates that your journey to your final destination includes a stop in the United States, where you are required to stop but have no other rights. Because this is not a visa for tourist or business, you are not permitted to stay longer than the time allotted. If you wish to visit the United States for vacation or business, you must obtain a B1 or B2 visa.
