Rasmussen University Hosts Fifth-Annual Virtual Career Fair

Online event facilitates connections with employers and delivers career-focused guidance to advance post-pandemic career development

Rasmussen University, a regionally accredited private university, is hosting its fifth-annual Virtual Career Fair on Aug. 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. CDT. Participants can network and discuss qualifications and open positions with up to 85 leading employers nationwide through live chat or video.

The no-cost, online career fair is for students, alumni and community members looking for career resources such as interview practice, open positions and networking. Participants may log in and out of the digital platform on their own time from almost anywhere — including the comfort of their home or office.

Job seekers can also attend mini-preparatory, career-focused workshops and interact directly with the University’s Career Services team, who will be on-hand during the event to virtually answer questions and provide career advice.

“Rasmussen is a career-readiness expert and we are dedicated to preparing people for success whether they are entering the job field for the first time or returning due to economic hardships,” says Elizabeth Lintelman, director of Career Services at Rasmussen University. “The Virtual Career Fair allows candidates to engage with employers and their community in an easy, efficient, safe and convenient way. The platform has been created to enhance participants’ skillsets, broaden opportunities and provide a future career path.”

The Virtual Career Fair helps participants grow by allowing them to:

  • Network with local, regional and national companies in a variety of industries.
  • Engage in direct, individual conversations with hiring managers.
