First registered in 2016, LHS Immersion® and The LHS Fifteen-Slide Presentation® remain core tools for healthcare, life sciences, and government communications

LaVoie Strategic Communications Group, Inc. (“LaVoie”) announced today that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has renewed the federal trademark registrations for LHS Immersion® and The LHS Fifteen-Slide Presentation®, two proprietary communications methodologies the firm uses to help clients clarify strategy, align leaders, and prepare market-shaping stakeholder communications.

On April 15, 2026, the USPTO issued notices accepting LaVoie’s declarations of use and renewing both registrations. LHS Immersion®, U.S. Registration No. 4,972,534, was first registered on June 7, 2016. The LHS Fifteen-Slide Presentation®, U.S. Registration No. 5,079,441, was first registered on November 8, 2016.

The renewals mark nearly a decade of federal trademark registrations for these two proprietary LaVoie methodologies. They also coincide with the firm's 25th anniversary and the advancement of its integrated platform for healthcare, life sciences, and government communications.

“These trademark renewals are significant and unique in our field, demonstrating the durability of our approach and our continued investment in frameworks that create value for clients,” said Donna L. LaVoie, CEO of LaVoie Strategic Communications Group. “At times of critical importance to our clients, their story must be clear, credible, and ready for close review. Our methodologies give leadership teams a structured way to get to the core of the story before they go to market.”

LHS Immersion® is LaVoie’s message development and positioning process, deployed across over 350 client engagements. It helps teams align business strategy, science, market context, and communications goals. The result is a working platform for corporate, investor, product, and stakeholder messaging.

The LHS Fifteen-Slide Presentation® translates that work into a concise presentation strategy. It is designed for leaders who need to explain the company, the opportunity, the evidence, and the call to action in a format that stakeholders can follow.

“The Fifteen-Slide Presentation methodology grew out of a problem we saw time and again,” said Lisa V. DeScenza, President of LaVoie Strategic Communications Group. “Leaders with complex, potentially life-changing technologies have much to say to stakeholders, but often too little time to say it well. Our framework helps management communicate the heart of their innovations effectively.”

Together, the two methodologies provide a clear path from strategy to execution. LaVoie applies them in work with emerging and commercial organizations across the healthcare, life sciences, technology, public health, and government sectors.
