The shopping app lets shoppers search once to compare store prices, find promo codes and check whether a deal is worth it

QuickFinds today announced the launch of its free shopping app, which lets shoppers compare prices across more than 10,000 stores and browse more than 100,000 deals and promo codes in one search.

QuickFinds was built to answer a question shoppers face every day: is this actually a good price? The same item often costs more at one store than another, and useful promo codes are spread across many sites.

To understand how much prices vary, QuickFinds analyzed millions of product listings and identified hundreds of thousands of exact-match products sold at more than one retailer, using product barcodes and its own matching algorithm.

Nearly half of those products cost at least 10% more at one retailer than another on the same day, and more than one in five had a price gap of at least 25%. The typical gap was about $10.

“Shoppers should not have to open ten tabs just to know if they are overpaying,” said Tyler Tyszkiewicz, founder of QuickFinds. “QuickFinds gives shoppers a clearer way to compare prices, understand the usual price range and decide whether a deal is actually worth it.”

Each QuickFinds product page shows matching offers from different stores side by side, along with a 90-day price trend, the typical price range and available coupons. Shoppers can set price alerts that notify them when an item drops to a price they choose.

The app's deals section organizes more than 100,000 deals and promo codes into 12 categories, from food and travel to electronics and pets, and includes more than 10,000 Amazon promo codes with step-by-step instructions for applying them at checkout. Shoppers can also earn cash back at more than 290 stores.

QuickFinds is available now as a free download on the App Store and Google Play, and on the web at quickfinds.com.
