Balanced Earth Launches Carbon Offset Program, Protecting the Cardamom Rainforest Landscape in Cambodia
Balanced Earth, a company dedicated to promoting sustainable business practices, has launched a new carbon offset program aimed at protecting the Cardamom Rainforest Landscape in Cambodia. Through global best practices for forest protection and community development, the initiative prevents more than 3,000,000 tons of carbon emissions annually and protects 497,000 hectares of tropical rainforest.

San Francisco, USA - Balanced Earth, a company dedicated to promoting sustainable business practices, announced today the launch of its new carbon offset program. The program is aimed at reducing carbon emissions and mitigating the effects of climate change by protecting the Cardamom Rainforest Landscape in Cambodia.

The Cardamom Rainforest Landscape is one of the last unfragmented rainforests remaining in Southeast Asia. Through the use of global best practices for forest protection and community development, this initiative prevents more than 3,000,000 tons of carbon emissions annually and protects 497,000 hectares of tropical rainforest in South-West Cambodia. This area is globally significant for ecosystem servicing, wildlife conservation, and community livelihoods and serves as the region's most important watershed, climate regulator, and carbon sink.

"We are thrilled to be partnering with The Cardamom Rainforest Landscape in Cambodia to offer our customers an opportunity to offset their carbon emissions," said John Smith, CEO of Balanced Earth. "We believe that sustainability should be a top priority for all businesses, and this program is just one of the many ways we are working to create a more sustainable future."

The cost of offsetting one ton of carbon emissions is $8, which will go directly towards supporting the Cardamom Rainforest Landscape in Cambodia. Customers can easily purchase offsets through the Balanced Earth website at www.BalancedEarth.org.

"At Balanced Earth, we believe that every action we take has an impact on the planet," said Smith. "By offsetting their carbon emissions, our customers can take an active role in reducing their carbon footprint and protecting the environment."
