Norfolk-based artist Kieron Williamson is releasing his new collection of original paintings. The collection, titled 'A Natural Progression', features works in oils, pastels, and watercolours inspired by Kieron's love of the English countryside and traditions.
Kieron started painting at the young age of 5, exhibiting an incredible talent for his age. Known as 'Mini Monet' by the art world, he has since sold his paintings around the world. Starting out as something of a child genius, Kieron is now a young adult who continues to nurture his love for art and his natural talent. He remains a highly talented young man who exhibits his original paintings and sells both originals and prints of his stunning works.
At the age of 19, Kieron Williamson has now been painting and developing his skills for almost 15 years. From the beginning of his exploration of drawing and painting, he received support from local artists who were happy to answer questions, offer advice, help him to develop his skills, and praise his progress. Kieron took art lessons and began to exhibit his art within just a year of having started to paint. He became a global phenomenon overnight, not just noticed for his young age but also his unique talent.
Kieron's latest collection 'A Natural Progression' is a portfolio of oil, pastel, and watercolour paintings that he has created over the last year. Kieron says about the collection: "I feel this portfolio of work really shows my love for the English countryside and traditions. I haven’t tried to do anything different for this year’s exhibition, only to capture what I see and put it down on canvas as honestly as I can."
The portfolio features works from Kieron's 2022 exhibition, including landscapes and seascapes, still lifes, and scenes of farming and country life. The collection shows Kieron's love of horses, cattle, and farming scenes, as well as three trail hunting scenes, which Kieron says "epitomise what I’m about as an artist…light, colour, drama, and movement."
All of the works from 'A Natural Progression' are available to order online from The Gallery Holt, with the shop easy to access from Kieron's website. Both original paintings and some limited edition prints can be purchased online. Additionally, the 2022 exhibition catalogue, featuring images from the collection, is also available for purchase. The collection contains over 60 paintings in total, with some already sold to happy buyers.
Kieron's 'A Natural Progression' exhibition runs from 9th July to 19th July 2022 at The Gallery Holt. The gallery is also hosting a series of live demonstrations with Kieron on the same dates.
