The physical and emotional toll of prostate cancer extends well beyond initial treatment. A meta-analysis published in the British Journal of Urology International found that post-treatment depression affects roughly one in five prostate cancer survivors, while anxiety around recurrence and ongoing side effects is reported across a significant proportion of men throughout the treatment spectrum.
PROSTAID Calgary's updated program is designed to address these ongoing challenges by providing men and caregivers with consistent support between medical appointments.
