-- Global iGaming gross gaming revenue reached an estimated $115 billion in 2026, a 12% increase over 2025, according to new research published by CasinoRank. The analysis tracks online slots, crash games, and live dealer content from January through June 2026, updating the network's prior six-month study with verified data from the UK Gambling Commission, Evolution AB, Spribe, and SlotCatalog, alongside CasinoRank's own iGaming Tracker network across more than 80 licensed operators.
Slots: Pragmatic Play's Grip Holds, Challengers Gain Real Ground
Pragmatic Play remains the most visible slots provider tracked in the report. Titles including Big Bass Bonanza 1000, Gates of Olympus 1000, and Sweet Bonanza are consistently ranked among the most visible slots on SlotCatalog's SlotRank system, which scans casino lobbies daily across more than 50 markets. Play'n GO's Book of Dead remains the only non-Pragmatic title holding a top regional position, still ranked first in Sweden.

High-volatility studios produced the report's biggest slots story. Hacksaw Gaming, which began trading on Nasdaq Stockholm in June 2025, grew 2025 revenue 44% to approximately €197 million and released 91 new games during the year. Nolimit City shipped two of the period's highest-multiplier titles, The Crypt 2 in March 2026 and San Quentin Manhunt in April 2026, with maximum wins of 31,248x and 46,532x respectively.
Crash Games: Aviator's Record Share Meets a UK Regulatory Setback
Crash games produced the report's sharpest single data point. Spribe told iGaming Business in June 2026 that Aviator now reaches more than 77 million monthly active players, processes over 400,000 bets per minute, and commands more than 90% of the global crash-game market, up from roughly 50 million monthly players in 2024. Pragmatic Play's three-title crash portfolio, Spaceman, Big Bass Crash, and High Flyer, remains the strongest challenger tier, while newer entrants including SmartSoft Gaming's JetX continue to gain ground.
Aviator's dominance came alongside regulatory turbulence. The UK Gambling Commission suspended Spribe OÜ's licence on 30 October 2025 over hosting-requirement non-compliance and lifted the suspension on 30 March 2026, but Aviator has not returned to UK-regulated platforms since.
Live Dealer: Evolution Defends Its Lead Through Content, Not Just Scale
Evolution retains its lead in live dealer content, holding an estimated 65% to 70% share of the global live casino market according to analyst estimates from MatrixBCG. The provider announced seven new live games at ICE Barcelona 2026 and is rolling out a global exclusive Hasbro partnership expected to underpin more than 110 new game launches across 2026. Pragmatic Play Live is the fastest-growing challenger, tripling its live table count from 50 in 2019 to more than 500 today, and launched the Korean-inspired Seotda Baccarat in May 2026 to target Asian markets.
Market Snapshot
- The United Kingdom posted £773 million in online slots gross gaming yield during Q1 2026, up 12% year-on-year, even as Remote Gaming Duty rose toward 40% from April 2026.
- Hacksaw Gaming's Nasdaq Stockholm listing and 44% 2025 revenue growth reflect strong investor appetite for high-volatility slot studios.
- IGT announced plans in March 2026 to cut about 10% of its workforce, roughly 700 jobs, as provider-side consolidation continues.
- H2 Gambling Capital data shows the unregulated offshore iGaming market growing from €12 billion in 2021 to €20 billion in 2026, even as licensed markets expand in parallel.
The report also revisits three predictions CasinoRank made in its prior study: AI-driven personalization, regional localization, and AR-enabled live dealer streaming. All three are now backed by real 2026 developments, including Playgon's AI Dealer product targeting a Q3 2026 launch, Evolution's 29.3% year-on-year Latin American revenue growth, and augmented reality integration in Evolution's Monopoly Big Baller.
What the Industry Should Take Away
Emily Thompson, Lead Analyst at CasinoRank, said the data points to a market where scale alone no longer guarantees dominance.
"Pragmatic Play, Aviator, and Evolution all still lead their categories in 2026, but each is being tested in a different way. Pragmatic Play is fending off genuine high-volatility competition for the first time in years. Aviator posted a record market share while its UK licence was suspended for five months. Evolution is defending its lead through content partnerships like Hasbro, not scale alone. That is a meaningfully different competitive picture than the one we described a year ago," Thompson said.
"Aviator's UK story is the one operators should study most closely. A five-month licence suspension did not dent Spribe's global market share, but the game still has not returned to UK-regulated platforms months after reinstatement. That gap between global dominance and regulatory standing in a single market is exactly the kind of risk operators need to model into any crash-game strategy going forward."
