'ICT Convergence Expo Korea 2022 & World AI Fair' opening at EXCO on the 9th... Participation of 700 booths from 170 companies participating!

In this exhibition, there will be on/offline export consultation by inviting more than 50 foreign buyer companies from China, Vietnam, Southeast Asia, and other countries.

LOS ANGELES, CA, November 16, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- 'ICT Convergence Expo Korea 2022', which shows the present and future of the ABB(Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, and Blockchain) industry, began at EXCO on November 9th (Wed).

This exhibition will run until the 11th (Fri), and with the theme of optimizing, expanding, and pioneering technologies for accelerating digital transformation for the development of ABB industry. It will present Information and communication technology (ICT) convergence technologies including artificial intelligence (AI), big data, block chain, metaverse platform, cyber security and software. As this year's 'ICT Convergence Expo Korea 2022' is held for its 17th time, it will be held with 'World AI Fair 2022', the only AI exhibition in Daegu, and will be held with about 700 booths from 170 companies.

KT, a leading ABB company from Korea, will exhibit various artificial intelligence robots and KT-specialized technologies including quarantine robots, service robots, and care robots, and regional ABB representative companies, such as WooKyoung Information Technology, Daeyoung Electronics, iGiS, and Jinmyung I&C will present digital platform and industrial cloud platform technology.

Wookyung Information Technology, which develops AI-based video security and personal information protection solutions and AI-based intelligent video analysis solutions, plans to contribute to enhancing corporate value by introducing technologies that can contribute to the achievement of high-level business values. In addition, OceanLightAI, MNVISION, and ALI are also determined to lead the local ABB industry by presenting core technologies of artificial intelligence and digital transformation (DX).

Through a special conference, they will visit local IT talent at this year's exhibition. The 'ICT Matching Day' hosted by the ICT Industry Promotion Association of GyeongBuk will provide a networking time to share ICT-related technologies and start-up know-how with local job seekers and entrepreneurs, and provides various information such as ICT innovative technology and industry status.

In addition, various conferences related to the ABB industry are also prepared. 'Artificial Intelligence International Conference' with the theme of industry-linked AI technology, including medical technology combined with AI technology, AI-based autonomous driving mobility service operation cases, AI technology use cases for business innovation, and data construction to improve AI translation performance will be held.

'The AI Fusion Symposium' by Keimyung University's AI Fusion Research Center will also be held in the conference room on the 3rd floor. Key figures in each field, including Jin-soo Lee, CEO of NHN DATA, and Seung-hwan Kim, managing director of LG AI Research, will present the latest AI-related trends and application cases and share the future of feasible AI technology and the development direction of the ABB industry.

In the cyber security zone in the exhibition hall, AhnLab, Jiran Data, Link-Net Korea, and IGLOO Corporation will showcase the latest information security-related technologies, and at the 8th Daegu Cyber Security Conference, with the theme of Daegu responding to cyber-pandemic security threats, cyber security-related issues related to local ICT issues will be dealt with to prepare a platform to make Daegu a safer and smarter future high-tech city.

Komestic D(Data)·N(Network)·A(AI) experts will be invited to the DNA conference, where the development direction of the local D·N·A industry will be discussed. After introducing the promising technology for commercialization through the ETRI commercialization promising technology briefing session, and they will explain how to support companies such as technical consultation and technology transfer.

In this exhibition, there will be on/offline export consultation by inviting more than 50 foreign buyer companies from China, Vietnam, Southeast Asia, and other countries. ICT Industry Promotion Association of GyeongBuk, which is participating for the first time this year, will show the technologies and achievements of the leading ICT companies from GyeongBuk. There will be a joint pavilion by National Information Society Agency, Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute, Daegu TechnoPark, Daegu Digital Innovation Promotion Agency, Institute of Advanced Convergence Technology, Pohang TechnoPark and Ulsan ICT Promotion Agency and they will enrich the exhibition by sharing the results of domestic ICT convergence support and R&D-related technologies.

Mayor of Daegu, Joon-pyo Hong, said, "Our city is making a lot of investment to intensively foster the ABB industry, which is one of the five major future industries of Daegu. We hope that participating companies will actively pioneer the ABB industry and be take part on shaping the future of Daegu next 50 years through this exhibition."

Meanwhile, hosted by Daegu Metropolitan City with the support of the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, ITCE 2022 is the largest regional ICT exhibition held for the 17th time this year. Various side events such as on·offline export conferences, new product·technology presentations, and ICT-related conferences were held together to maximize business effects. In addition, Daegu's only AI exhibition 'World AI Fair 2022' was held at the same time.
