Schroders Capital, with $97 billion in assets under management in global private capital, is applying decarbonization strategies to every asset class in its portfolios. I talked with Holly Turner, climate specialist at Schroders Capital.
She walked us through how her team works with the companies in its portfolios to evaluate four levers for decarbonization. These levers consider both the portfolio and real-world outcomes an investment can achieve and which private-market asset class is most likely to achieve each outcome, as well as contribute to a company’s net zero commitment.
