On the occasion of the "Fuzhou Full of Blessings" 2nd Fuzhou Network Cultural Festival, the launch ceremony of the Season 2 of Stories of Ancient Houses in Fuzhou was held in Xindian Ancient Town Relics Park on July 26. A promotional video for the program was played at the ceremony.
In order to better show the city image of Fuzhou and tell the city’s stories to the world, and promote Mindu culture and "Fu" culture overseas, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Fuzhou Municipal People's Government and the Information Office of Fuzhou Municipal People's Government jointly launched the program titled Stories of Ancient Houses in Fuzhou. Leveraging platform advantages of overseas Chinese-language media, the program tells the past and present stories of ancient houses and the thousand-year-old city from the perspective of overseas Chinese and international friends.
The Season 1 of the Stories of Ancient Houses in Fuzhou, which was launched on February 15, 2022, has amassed over 100 million views worldwide, including more than 80 million views overseas. It has achieved good external communication effects.
After nearly half a year of shooting and production, the Season 2 of the Stories of Ancient Houses in Fuzhou has been completed and was launched on July 27. This season features a wide range of ancient houses, including quaint and grand houses and ancestral halls built in the Ming and Qing dynasties, vibrant and lively courtyards of the modern era, and buildings that blend Chinese and Western architectural styles. They tell the stories of Fuzhou from multiple levels and different perspectives.
