Hawaiian mixed martial arts promotional organization X1 World Events has announced its latest event — X1#58: Battle at the Barracks 2.

The co-main events for X1#58: Battle at the Barracks 2 are a lightweight (155 lbs) bout between Kaena De Santos and Msai Reynolds and a flyweight (125 lbs) bout between Jordan Covington and Ikaika King. The 6-fight event is scheduled for July 27, 2024, at 604 Ale House, Schofield Barracks, with doors opening at 5 pm and fights starting at 7 pm.

The four fighters in the co-main events represent some of Hawaii’s most respected mixed martial arts gyms. In the first bout, Jordan Covington (0-0) is representing Lion of Judah while Ikaika King (0-0) is fighting out of Trilogy MMA. In the second bout — the last of the evening — Kaena De Santos (0-0) is representing North Shore MMA while Msai Reynolds (0-0) is fighting out of Pacific Jiu-jitsu - Maui, X1 World Events says.
“The co-main events at X1#58: Battle at the Barracks 2 promise to deliver intense competition and adrenaline-pumping action,” explained the event’s promoter. “Before the co-mains, we also have four other fights that are bound to be exciting.”
The other fights on the evening’s card are a featherweight (145 lbs) bout between Caysen Enos (0-0) and Jalen De Guzman (0-0), a featherweight (145 lbs) bout between Arlo Eckardt (0-0) and Hezekiah Horner (0-0), a catchweight (160 lbs) bout between Kaimana Tufui (0-0) and Ekolu Horner (0-0), and a bantamweight (135 lbs) bout between Ikaika Correa (1-1) and Santiago Kirchner (0-0).
Tickets for the event are available for purchase on the X1 World Events website. They can also be bought at Razor Hawaii, Pipeline Waipahu, and Leeward Fight Shop. Those who can’t make the event in person can watch the live stream, which will be uploaded to the promotion’s website on the day of the event.
